it's probably just a bushing that is worn.

is it kind of a wallering/whiring noise?

sounds like you'll want to buy a bearing and seal kit and tear into it. if you're gonna replace one bearing, may as well replace them all.

i haven't had a t19 apart myself, but i have had a handful of other trannies apart. you'll want a good assortment of pullers and maybe a small hydraulic press, as well as a solid set of snap ring pliers. from there, just keep everything in order and facing the right way.
maybe someone else has a manual for it, but i don't

of course we do they're just a lighter duty version of presses and pullers, which are sometimes referred to as fingers

but i get what he meant, the careful laying out of parts in order, all that stuff, yeah, just like doing a carb or anything else you're not totally familiar with the internal workings of

on other trannies i've had apart, you would swear that every darn piece is pressed onto the shaft, and in some cases i've had to use two pullers together to get something off.

i highly recommend having 2 large tables for your workspace, one of which sees active work, and the other to store parts in order.
