IS THERE A AFTERMARKET TURBO WORTH USING ON A 87 F250 6.9 IDI?

yup. Banks sidewinder and ATS are the popular units.
both are dependable units, and can be bought used for between $500 and $1000

but they are getting very hard to find parts for, that is why i did not include the hypermax, ray-jay, or other units

putting a turbo on will make it feel like a V8 compared to a 6 cylinder.

totally transforms the truck.
once you install a turbo to an n/a idi,you'll know right away that diesels belong turbocharged and you'll never run another n/a (willingly lol) again after that.
with a bisic bolt on big 3 turbo kit,they still won't be a fun toy or anything imho,but a massive boost up to respectable towing and work truck.

ats no longer offers/sells kits nor parts.you would need to buy used stuff.
banks and hypermax are currently still selling kits and all parts (for the latest models) what you can't find for parts online,you can order directly from either id guess for sure (banks i know personally you can get any nut and bolt you want.)
