Broken Brake Bleeder?

I also tightened the e brake pedal with the star wheel while I was down there.
The brake fluid must have been neglected by the PO as evidenced by the rust on the bleeder screws and because there was all sorts of debris in the old fluid.
Hopefully the brakes will now hold the next time I back down the boat launch ramp. Previously, I've had to apply the throttle to keep from getting pulled into the water ... but mostly because the tires were skidding on the wet ramp. :-)
