I replaced my fuel pump a couple days ago and my fuel line snapped as I was removing the pump.
Any tips for bending new line? I'm going nuts over here. I've screwed up my first 3 lines and am about to start on my 4th. It's a short line (30", pump to carb) but has about 5 bends. I've already called inlinetube.com and they can make one for me, but I'd like to figure this out on my own.
one of your local parts stores will have a tubing bender. If might help to bend a "wire" pattern or use some small, soft copper tubing to make a pattern. Don't obsess, it does no have to look just like the original.
I've used various radii pulleys to bend lines. Clamp 'em to a workbench and bend/draw it slowly around the circumference.
You have a workbench? Now I really am jealous! Seriously a great idea making alternative radii available instead of what the bender does. I have never had an issue with lines I have bent but I can see how a larger radius might come in handy at times. Did you say you had clamps too?

I recall he moved from Indiana to Missouri... I'll give 'em the benefit of the doubt that he has not yet unpacked.
LOL but quite a bit of truth in that 1. Life is busy down here dealing with my father (Alzheimers). Seems like it took forever just to get back online. We still have things in Indiana to bring down yet.
