Missing lock pull tab thing rear pass. side?

Missing lock pull tab thing rear pass. side?
When I bought my X the lock tab thing was missing. I pulled the panel off today and it's in the door but it will NOT budge. Any ideas?I'll get pics up in a bit

The little tab on the bottom of the lock "tab" that rotates went to far around/down and that's why it was locked in the down position. I got that fixed now, but I can seem to get the horizontal rod to connect now though. I know how to connect it, but it won't connect and work properly.

Ok, speaker is ready to go back in but I still haven't figured this out. If it helps at all before I pulled the panel the slot where the tab comes out was completely empty and I honestly thought that it would be missing when I pulled the panel.
