Transportation Schedules
On average a new vehicle is built in 8 hours. How long does it take the vehicle to reach it's indended destination? Does it "sit" at the plant for an extended period? Or does this tranport time all depend on supply/demand? In that, if the demand is LOW, then transportation times are reduced becasue business is bad and the automaker will bend over backwards to sell a vehicle.

I think Einstein would have it easier explaining the time-space continuum than he could the way vehicles are shipped. Sometimes they arrive in 5 days; sometimes it takes 5 weeks. They often seem to get lost in some parking lot, or maybe they are off to a body shop getting fixed. You'll never know for sure on the latter, because no one at the factories or the carriers will ever admit to damaging (and then secretly repairing) a vehicle. They get here when they get here.
