Changed Inner and Outer Tie Rods
Hi all
It has been a while since I have posted here. I thought I would share the maintenance I did last yesterday. Should have taken pictures for the entire process but it is rather simple.
I pulled the front wheels to check the brakes and see if I could find the cause of the loose and drifting steering of the van. Well the pads were 75% used (no surprise) and the rotors are still in great shape. ThermoQuiet pads and ATE rotors.
The steering issue was caused by bad inner and outer tie rods, I replaced them and did a drive way alignment that will get me to the alignment shop next week, after the springs and shocks are changed.
All is good now, steers and stops. What else could we ask for!
