Ball joint issue

Hey guys. Just put a Dana 60 under my dads 95 f250. 7.3. We went ahead and did hubs brakes ball joints and front axle u joints. But after installing the ball joints I cannot turn the knuckle without hitting it with a hammer. Only on the passenger side but the driver side is fine I can move it. Any thoughts? Bad ball joints? Wrong ball joints? Thanks

Very hard to move even with tire on. Driving down the road. Steering won't return. Have to pull it back.

Did you try unhooking the bar that goes to the pitman arm and see if it frees it up

Did you follow torque specs? If the ball joints or tie rods are over-tightened they can hold the knuckles in place.

Correct sequence?
I found:
CAUTION: If these tightening procedures are not followed, life of the front suspension upper ball joint and front suspension lower arm ball joint will be reduced.

Tighten both attaching nuts as follows:
  1. Tighten nut of the front suspension lower arm ball joint to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).
  1. Tighten nut of the front suspension upper ball joint to 95 Nm (70 lb-ft).
  1. Advance nut of the front suspension upper ball joint to next castellation, and install new cotter pin.
  1. Retighten nut of the front suspension lower arm ball joint to 203 Nm (150 lb-ft).

The joints are fully seated in the knuckle?

AllData was wrong then. It said the same sequence but each tightened to 110 instead of 70 and 150
