Holy Heck, What a Difference!

Just got my truck back after the oil cooler replacement, egr delete, SCT tune and 4" flo-pro exhaust... WOW. Ridiculous power and gas mileage. It's a totally different truck. Can't believe it's the same vehicle.

Only thing is that there's still a big difference in temperatures between oil and coolant. It's fine for driving around town but I was on the interstate for 30 miles and it was still 20 degrees different. Going to have to call the shop in the morning.

Man...I really hope this isn't the problem, but you wouldn't be the first one to go through all that and have a brand-new oil cooler clogged back up due to existing rust and improper flushing. What was the verdict?

No verdict yet as the shops closed until Tuesday. I believe they'll take care of me though. I'll be out of town for a week in June, so I may just leave it there for them to work on at their leisure.

The going rate seems to be around $2k, but I was charged a lot less than that. In fact, I got the exhaust installed on top of all that for less than $2k. The truth is, it won't matter how good of a deal it was if they didn't fix the problem.
