Stumped. Help.
I have a 2000 F250 7.3 with 220000 on the odometer. Th truck runs great but has a nasty habit of idling real rough and then surging. Sometimes it stalls. I have changed the cam position sensor twice with no change. Used motircraft the second time around. I just dropped the tank, cleaned it out and out a new sending unit in. I know that needed to be do e as my fuel gauge was becoming unreliable. Also replaced the fuel filter and cleaned out the bowl and put a new drain assembly and gaskets all the way around. I though it would clear up after all that but it hasn't. Do you think it is the injectors? I'm stumped. Any help is greatly appreciated.

With doing all the work on the filter drain you must have hit the IPR wires. Like Greg said check your IPR coil, make sure the nut is tight, take the connection loose and check the wires in the plug also. I had those same issues with my truck and since reseating it I have had no more issues in the past year. Here's hoping it is as simple for you too.
