Alright so first off it's set up with a 500cfm edel carb, offy DP, and stock exhaust. I've recent replaced the starter, starter solendoid, fuel pump, battery, all the vacuum lines, pcv valve (and grommet), and spark plugs.
That said when the engine is cold, it starts right up no problem. After it heats up a bit, if I shut it off and start it again, I have to put the pedal to the floor to get it to start. Then it will idle rough for a while and cut out if I'm not giving it a little gas.
The really strange part is if I keep it running for a minute or 2 (just enough on the pedal to keep the idle up) it'll go right back to running nicely and idling smooth.
I'm not quite sure how vacuum leaks could cause this, and since it starts good cold I have no idea how it could be the choke. I was thinking it could be a leak in the fuel line in the back by the tank, but I can't find any gas back there (and again after it cools off it starts fine). So I've got no idea what could be causing this. Any guesses would be appreciated.
EDIT: So after doing some more digging around the site it sounds like it is one of 2 issues, the ignition module, or the choke. Most of the info I'm finding is on trucks that are stock or EFI which doesn't really help me much. I know the carb isn't dirty because well, it's new, so I guess I'll check out the ignition module. Anyone have a good source for old DSII modules? Otherwise if I'm barking up the wrong tree let me know.

Reason: Clarity
Well it wasn't the ignition module. Swapped it out because they are relatively cheap and low and behold it still does it. I'll check out the choke tomorrow morning to see what it's doing and hopefully that will yield some answers.
Could be dirty needles/seats bleeding gas and flooding. I had a sunk float on a Edelbrock once and you could see gas coming out around the metering rod cover. Climb up and look down the carb with the engine running to see if any gas is leaking, then have someone shut it off while you're looking and keep watching for leaks.
