The weld series bar is what we call a NASCAR style bar. If properly mounted and linked they will work well. Issues will be finding space for bar and linkage. Ends should be horizontal, links vertical. The MII style bar offered with IFS kit will be easier to mount/hook up, space in front is usually tighter. Hard to say what size bar to use in rear/front, too many variables, but front bar is typically stiffer/thicker than rear, making using same bar front/rear not the ideal choice. the bar in a tube like welder series has disadvantage of being able to only use one size bar unless the outer tube is large enough to take various I.D. size bushings. But most any bar is going to be better than no bar with your suspension choices. Might look at bar sizes used in a Ranger or Explorer, similar size, weight, CG, suspension to what you are building for starting point. Whatever you use be sure mounting is sturdy, mounts under a lot of stress when cornering.
Thanks! The sway bar was still on the 8.8 i got from the junkyard and i was planning on using it but the mounts ended up being in the way of my link mounts so i had to cut off the mounts. My dads ranger has the sway bar attached using u bolts clamped to the ends of the center section so i might look into that sway bar. Thanks for the advice!
