I don't know the specs on the size of the bars, but here's how you can measure it. Take a fabric tape measure (borrow it from the wife) and measure how big around the bar is, the circumference of it. If you don't have a fabric tape, just use a piece of non-stretching string or anything flexible enough to wrap around the bar. Then take that measurement and divide it by pi. Rounded off, pi is 3.14. So, say you measure the circumference of the bar at 6.25" then divide that by 3.14 and you get 1.99". So, the diameter of the bar is probably 2".
The formula is this: Pi x diameter = circumference. So to find diameter, you just take circumference and divide by pi: diameter = circumference/pi. In the case above: 6.25/3.14 = 2.
