Bench seat

Will a bench seat from a 1987 bronco fit perfectly in a 78 f250 or are the brackets completely different?

I'm guessing you will need to use the brackets from your old seat too make it work. I haven't tried one but i think the floor pan is different. I did use the rear bench seat from a 87 crew cab by reusing my old 79 brackets, fit was perfect .

Is it easy to switch the brackets? What tools are needed?

One wrench to fit the bolts and nuts. Pretty easy for me , but i don't know what you can do. Is this your first time using tools on a truck ?

I never had to do any cutting or welding using the pickup seat, bronco may be different. I have read on the forums that the pickup seat up to 96 goes in easy by switching the tracks.

For a beginner, bracket change will take approx 2 hours. Also, I recommend 1/4" drive sockets, if possible
