I just got a 75 f250 full time 4x4 and would like to make it a parttime system twin stick if I can id like to cruse and light up the rear tires now and then but still have 4x4 when I want it can some one walk me through the process if its doable with my tcase
Easiest/cheapest way is to buy a set of locking hubs for the front axle- instant 2wd when the hubs are disengaged. The other option would be find a divorced 205 and swap that in. You also can't twin stick a 203 but its very easy on a 205.

I put a milemarker 203 conversion kit, New front lockout hubs, then faves my own twinstick setup. 2wheel 4 wheel on one stick, hi low on the other stock. Not the same as 20 5 twinstick. Front axle hi low on one stick, rear axle hi low on the otr.
Front axle hi low on one stick, rear axle hi low on the otr.
No that is not correct.
On a 203 with 2 sticks the inside stick is hi/low and operates both front and rear. The outside stick is for 2wd or 4wd.
You can run the rear axle in hi or low OR run the front and rear in hi or low BUT you cannot independently switch between front only and rear only like a 205.
Its a chain driven case with a common shaft between the trans input and the yoke/output so the rear axle cannot be isolated.
Just get a 205 + shifter from a donner truck and new lockouts.
The 203 + shifter are your week points. Also need the driveshafts from the donner truck. Swaping a 205 in gave me 1 or 2 MPGs. You can put the 205 in low range and do a good burnout with the hubs unlocked. I watched a guy twist his driveshaft off that way.
