Cannot find locking hubs
Hi I have a 1976 f-250 with a c6 tranny and a divorced np203 transfer case with dana 44 front axle and I am trying to find locking hubs for my front axle but they all tell me not for the full time four wheel drive models. Does anyone know of a manual locking hub that I could use on this. would like to get away from full time four wheel.

Check some of the 4WD suppliers for the conversion kit. I'm not sure what's involved in it, but these guys might.

I know you can put locking hubs on a full time 4 wheel drive. my 77 has the exact same setup as what your talking about. the owner before me put locking hubs on they are of some 4x4 international

i think they tell you that because they are not direct replacements for the full time t case. the hubs are the same for just about every ford truck. i too have the c6/203 set up on my 75 and i have warn hubs on my front axle. they work fine. i have blown em a few times but thats because i use my truck for its intended use. 4 WHEELIN and MUDDIN. at least once a month. best bet is to go with warn premium hubs or the original red **** hubs that came on broncos and ford pickups which are actually made by warn.

Get the Warn Premiums, they are all metal. I took off my FoMoCo hubs, and the part that engages the hub is PLASTIC. Also, with the 1/4 turn hubs, you have less material holding the hubs engaged. The 3/4 turn, or 7/8 as my new ones, gives you much more thread material to hold on to.
