M/C removal help

I am trying to remove the master cylinder from my 49 F1. I can't get the pin out that holds the push rod to the pedal mechanism. I took out the cotter pin but can't get the pin to move.

Does the pin just drive out? Maybe it is just grunged up with 60 years of gunk.

As I recall without crawling up under my truck, you don't necessarily have to remove the push rod at all from the pedal assembly. Just unbolt your MC and pull it straight backwards away from the chassis crossmember. The push rod will slide out of the rubber boot, and you can install the new master cylinder the same way.....unless of course the pushrod is your problem to begin with. Just clean it up and re-use it. The only problem you'll have is if it's too corroded for adjustment.
