need help please

i have a 71 f100 with a straight 6 in it and i want to know if a aod trans will bolt up to it i have a c4 in it right now ... and if i can put a aod in it what do i have to do to make it right plz email me at

An AOD will bolt up but how are you going to control the electronic overdrive?

Joe, It should, you will need the proper control cable.

NOTE. Some places Ford calls it an AOD and some places call it an AOT when in a truck or van.
As noted above, you'll need the correct t/v cable, bracket that holds it to the Donor's intake, and maybe the Donor's carb. Since your C4 has a kickdown rod instead of the T/V cable the linkage lever must be different on your carb.
