Well first off i want top say thanks to FTE for all the help and advice i have received from each and everyone of you. It has saved me countless dollars and has bought me so much.
So i posted awhile back last november or december with some Glow Plug questions. I replaced the GPR and it helped my cold starts quite a bit. I tested all the plugs and had 6 out of 8 that were bad.
Today i finally got around to it . Its been long overdue for GP's and while i was in there i torqued the Injector Hold Down Bolts and Rocker Arm Bolts. And did the .50 cent mod. I was really supprized that the connection in the valve cover was nice and tight. No gap whats so ever. But still installed the quarters anyway. As for the Inj bolts, they were loose, not bad but a decent amount probably 5in-lbs and same with the rocker bolts.
All in all thanks to fte it was a very simple task. After doing all my homework and reading it took the intimidation factor away. It all went smooth just very time consuming. For a first timer under the vc i started bout 1130am and was finished about 5pm. Took it nice and slow.
Injectors will the next thing under the vc i would imagine. Im at 235k on stock sticks. But they looks simple to replace but i could be wrong. But thats a entire different topic,
Good to hear. I will be doing injector o-rings on my 01 with 231k on the counter. Also, while I am at it, turbo rebuild, IPR rebuild, and few other odds and ends. I am glad you were able to knock yours out without any problems. I look forward to jumping in on mine soon.

Thanks and good luck on all of your truck chores . I have tons of things i need to wrap up on the truck to get it back up to par. Just takes time and money. But like i explained to the wife. Any repair under 3 or 400 a month is worth keeping the truck. And if i can get by a few months with out repairs and or mods were ahead of the game vs a new truck payment . Plus i love my truck.
