351W heads choice

351W heads choice
Hey all,
I got a 1996 Bronco with the 351W. Ultimately i want to get the 408 Stroker kit from Coast high performance, but i'm starting with the Top end and doing it in two parts. I'm looking at the Edelbrock Performer truck intake and Edelbrock rollin' Thunder cam. I'm having trouble picking heads, it seems to be a very opinionated part, and i'm having a hard time learning how to pick a head best suited for my application. Do i just buy the biggest numbers possible for exhaust/Intake runner volume? I understand higher combustion chamber helps reduce compression ratio, and when stroking i'd like to maintain my low 8.5:1 ratio, so plan on getting a bigger combustion chamber, is there a downside to just buying as big as i can? Here are the two heads i'm looking at. Any advice, or knowledge would be greatly appriciated.
Edelbrock E-205 Heads: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/edl-5027
RHS pro Action heads: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/rh...view/make/ford
As well as links to the cam: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/edl-2281
Intake manifold: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/edl-3881
and Throttle body: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/bb...view/make/ford
Not that i'm shooting for a monster horsepower engine, but i am defiantly looking for some bigger numbers, while maintaining reliability. i'm hoping to push 400+ horsepower, 650+ torque while still making it 150k miles without rebuilding. I'd rather save some coin a few extra months to buy quality top shelf items.
Thanks for the help,
Alex

That HP number will be easily achieved but the TQ number is a bit optomistic.. though the motor should make 500 ft/lbs no problem. But even then you can kiss goodbye to the stock transmission and rear axle the first time you unleash this monster so those parts will also need to be upgraded. BTW I'm not trying to talk you out of this just trying to make you aware of what it'll take to have a reliable vehicle.

I didn't post my entire shopping list, i am doing an upgraded fuel system.
Also, i'm shopping around for an F350 with the ZF 42-S7. I want the Dana 60 up front, Sterling 10.25 and the tranny. I believe my Transfer case should not need upgrading?
There is also a shop about half an hour away specializing in Ford, i have contacted him, but i haven't met face to face yet. I am still new to this especially EFI, i'll have to pay him a visit once i have a few more final decisions on parts.
Thanks for the help.
