Fuel Injector Cup Replacement

I have my fuel injectors out and noticed gasses seeped up past the compression washers on two of them.
Will replacing the washers be enough to solve this or do the cups need replaced as well?
The cups look ok visually after being cleaned.

Replacing the cups is not common practice. As a matter of fact our Techs have posted previously that there is a tool for the job but it doesn't work well and head replacement is the preferred fix if the cups are leaking. Hopefully you don't have fuel in the degas bottle and the copper washers will fix it up. Be sure to clean out the threads the hold down bolts go in and torque to spec.

No, my degas bottle was clean anti-freeze. I just noticed the burnt residue on the two injectors. Replaced the compressor washers and o-rings and wasn't sure about cups.
Thank for the reply!
