truck tool boxes for 2001 supercab?
I'm new to the forum and was wondering if anyone knows a good brand or website to get a tool box for my bed?
Husky, Delta??
I don't know, I want something secure and accessible.
Thanks if you reply

Over the rail?
in the bed type?
gull wing or single lid?
Aluminum or metal or plastic (I only recomend the reinforced plastic ones not the cheapies)
Is it some thing that will see a lot abuse or something to put the tools in for the weekend trip?
I myself have a OTR Proctecta reinforced plastic tool box, with gull wing doors. It has a lifetime warranty on sagging and can take a real beating and not show any dents unlike metal boxes.
Thanks I'll look into these, one question? Will plastic fade and break down from sun exposure?
Thanks for you help,
BTW in the bed gull-wing style is yours secure?

By secure to you mean fastened to the truck?
Yes it is fastened to my side rails by some 3/8 '' metal screws coated in clear RTV.
Or do you mean from breaking into?
Unfortuantely any tool box can be broken into with a decent crow bar, just a matter of how hard one has to work at it. I'd say mine is average to good in this area.
As far as fading goes mine hasn't atleast to my knowledege, but if were sat next to a new one i'm sure there would be a small difference.
The reasons I like mine is:
1. it only set me back $150.
2. On my previous ranger, I had one that stoped a frozen 70 lb sandbag traveling at 45mph, which had resulted from a wreck i was in. I truly belive that my head would have been taken off had it not been for that reinforced tool box. Any metal one may have stoped it, but my head would have helped as well.
3. it matches my over the rail bed liner quite nicely as well.
