Dusting the turbo means the wearing away of the blades/impellors of the compressor section because of particles (dirt/dust) bypassing the air filter. This situation also causes damage in the engine as well.
Benny is suggesting that you get a scangaugeII unit (Autozone carries them, not sure which of the other stores carry them)
Well the dusting is very possible due to the damaged tube into turbo

Can you supply a couple of brand names of the scan gauges, the auto value I just called said they have code readers and a scan unit( from $100 to$500) I'm a little leery of not buying the correct unit

Looking for a scan gauge, I think this is one not to get ? MaxiScan® MS300 CAN OBDII Code Reader it says it does not support "Reads Live Powertrain Control Module Datastream (Engine, A/T, ABS, Airbag)" and does not "Display Live O² Sensor Test Data"
So I should not get this one??
Well we could sit and go round and round all Night and get NOWHERE Fast By Going threw Hundreds of diffrent senereos
You need to get a Gauge to read Live Data threw the OBDII PORT
And You Can BUBBLE Test by Pullen FICM FUSE and Fuel Pump Fuse take the Cap of the Upper fuel filter and Crank it over while Checking for Bubbles in upper fuel filter housing
Just let the Diagnostic Routine find the Problem!!!!!

If you're looking at handheld OBDII readers, "Live Data" and "CAN Compliant" will get you started. Wording like displays "Manufacturer Specific" codes is really what you want but those are quite a bit more $$. Extra functions like ABS scanning are nice but not necessary to get the engine info.
If you are addicted to a iPhone or Android there are connectors and apps for those that work pretty well also.
SGII is popular here I think because Cheap and Autozone's are everywhere in the USA so folks can get hooked up with one Fast
Or one of the other DashBoss or Android phone deals would work I dont have any experiance with those ones though.
IIRC DashBoss is really close to the same price as SGII
Im NOT 100% shure but think DashBoss would be the better of the two
I really like the DB Display It may have a couple extra portts to add Fuel Press and EGT Gauges to for DB SGII dont have those extra ports
I guess if you really get in a Pinch we could get Most sensor info using a DVM (Digital Volt Meter)
What it really comes down to is the PCM sees 95% of the sensors in a Volt reading The PCM dont use PSI and stuff like that the gauges just convert that for usser
You will go to alot of trouble to get sensor values with a DVM
Like the FICM will be hard to axcess to get a volts reading But with a Gauge you can check it ALL in 5 minutes
Located the problem, siticky egr valve, funny I just cleaned this about two weeks ago, used carb cleaner, wrapped canister part so no cleaner could get into it, I think that the carb cleaner gummed up the action, in future I'll either delete or won't use the cleaner.
thanks for all the help!
