The man at a local ford dealer parts counter was able to locate part number F7TZ-12K073-A at one ford part store in the country. Well he said three part stores had them but two of them do not. The one that has them now only have two in stock. I will post the info if anyone is interested.

I am interested in one! I don't have a credit card to order over the phone or online though. It is ALLOT to ask but is it possible you could pick up one more and I can send you a money order for it possibly? I'll give extra for your trouble.
On the road in Las Vegas I got burned for $300.oo dollars back when. And then the dealer replaced it without telling me till I picked the truck up. I was pissed to say the least.
A lot more than forty bucks.
The parts guy was shocked when he saw the price difference between the original (F7TZ-12K073-A) and the updated (F7TZ-12K073-B).
Thats a big time score if you got them for $40! Snowseeker maybe you should talk to Pioneer.
I have a completely stock late '99 and I had the dealer do the cps recall before everyone started having problems with the new gray ones.
I never had a hiccup of any kind with the old one, haven't noticed any difference between the black and the gray, no hiccups with the new gray one in 3 years.
I DO have 2 new gray ones in my glovebox though.
I have rear every cps thread that is started and cannot believe the trouble folks have had, while mine seems perfectly fine.
