That is true but don't forget that the rubber floor mat also used was just as bad if not worse. The rubber trunk mats used in Mopars back in the days were a disaster for their trunks.

These bucket seats were removed from a 1965 Ranger. At the time I picked these up I also picked up the center console.
I had the seats done to represent the yblock. My 64 has a yblock and it's the last year for these trucks that the yblock was offered. At least for the f100
