I like it. It looks like it either has later model front end added or body has been moded onto a later model frame and running gear. Never the less it still is a sharp looking crew cab.
Yeah, it does look cool but I would need a ladder... ;o)
Pretty truck. I would need an escalator or a hydraulic lifted step, like the lift gates. Maybe a lift step is the next fancy option for us broken and rusted up old guys to spend money on. I wonder if there are any out there.
So I did some research on this because I thought it was so cool. It was on ebay last year which meant it was also posted on here for everyone to check out.
That's one nice 66 crew cab. Other thread from last year mentioned a tube frame? Any pics of the underside? I sure would like to have it would go nicely with my 2wd 66 crew
So I did a little more research about the truck... To my shock it was built in Lebanon TN the same town I lived in for 12 years. Heres a working link to the build sheet for those of you that are interested. Oh and the air bags dump so to drop the truck for getting in and out of it.
Yeah I thought the same until I seen all they did with it. A lot of cash dropped on that truck. I talked to the guys that built it today. They are building another one as we speak. They invited me to stop by and take some pictures this summer. Its a diesel with a custom tubed fram sitting on air bags.
Any details on what will be different then the one they already built? Sounds like the same basic setup almost maybe working out the flaws they found on the first one that's great they offered for you to take a look at it where are they based out of? If you do go be sure to take plenty of pics I'm addicted to old ford crew cabs
