Is there a special PID for the 6 litre powerstrokes oil temperature?

Did you load the Ford specific PIDs when you first brought up Torque? There are more than one Engine Oil Temp and you want the one that is "Engine Oil Temp",
it's PID is: 221310 and check the equation too: (((A*256)+B)/100)-40

Not sure how to load the "Ford specific PIDs" When I start a new profile it just asks for the general information about the vehicle.
It appears I'm missing a step.

Using the Torque app I've noticed now that after about 10 miles of driving my oil temp gauge starts dropping about 20 degrees and then right back up. It does this a few times and then eventually the gauge goes to zero and stays there. Truck runs fine but I'm wondering if I need to replace the oil temp sensor?

That's an interesting one. I think you can swap your coolant to your oil and see if the problem shows up in the coolant temp. That probably narrows it to the sender...

On edit: that wasn't very clear, I'm talking about the wiring from the two senders, you should be able to unplug both and swap them, plug-wise...
