Hey guys, I was just wondering if anybody knows the location of the flasher unit in a 95 ford l9000?? And also a general description of it?? I've torn the dash apart twice now and have had no luck. Thx.
Greetings This is my first post. I have an old 91 L9000 - right turn signals quit. Could the flasher cancel only one side? I took the switch apart, and I have juice to one side only. When I try to jump a hot wire to the other side it heats up and shorts. Im thinking the flasher, but not sure.
Thanks also, any place where i can get parts??
Ron

If the flasher is defective, neither side will flash. If only one side flashes, there's corrosion on the sockets, the bulb(s) burned out or the T/S switch is bad.
F3HZ-13350-A (replaced D3TZ-13350-A & D4TZ-13350-A) .. T/S Flasher / Available from Ford & auto parts stores.
Thank you very much. I have not found the flasher yet but Im getting ready to make the dive under the dash. I took the T/S switch apart and found something strange.... I had constant hot to the yellow wire, which feed the long soldered buss, and when I turned left, the gray wire and the yellow flashed. But the other side was dead. When I ran juice to it, nothing. So I guess the search is on. THanks again.
Flasher is a square box bolted to the side of the clutch pedal support, if it's the original, when they went bad most times they where replaced with a standard electro- mechanical flasher.
OK, I tried to reply but it disappeared. so I'll try again.
THanks Destroked. I found the flasher- a tiny auto flasher that someone apparently installed. But it clicks when left signal is turned on...but not the right. So, I figure the problem has to be upstream from the flasher. So...I'm going to replace the swtich.
Thanks again
