Need a 1971/72 F250 steering column...

Why do you need an entire steering column?
Be aware that a column with M/S will be different than one with P/S, as the length of the mast jacket, shift tube and steering shaft are different.

Wow, thanks for responding! I've read your responses for years.
This is my second truck resto (first was a 1971 F-100) and this one definitely has the wrong column. The steering shaft is about 1-1.5" too long and sticks out in the cab. The column was also connected to the steering unit with a single bolt - essentially pinning one bolt hole up so the thing would work.
I'd like to repair this situation with proper part(s) to bring it back to stock but am having a hard time finding the part.
Forgot to mention - it's a power steering unit.

FYI - looks like Don's yahoo address is no longer valid (yahoo bounced the message). I'll try messaging him via the forum.
If you have any other sources (anywhere in the US), I'd owe you big time.
Thank you again, sir. :-)
[EDIT]: Dang, you beat me to it. :-) Thanks for the other sources! I'll get right on it!
[EDIT II]: I tried Don's address again, and yahoo took it this time. Looks like it may have been a yahoo issue. I'll let you know. S

email me: sylhall@aol.com I'll pass along Don's cell phone number. Don's retired, spends a lot of time in wrecking yards, knows where 'the bodies are buried.'
