Per what baddad said the dimension per the FRPP catalog is as below. Catalog only costs $5.

Thanks for the tip... Its going to the machine shop. I don't have the tools to measure those tolerances and I don't feel like removing the cam to try the trial and error alternative approach.

I never did that test fit deal. I just installed it as per the dimensions in the instructions.

I can probably get it within 5 tenths or so but not within a few thousandth...

Just wondering... Why do you have to turn 90° and drill a new hole?

Because it's doubtful that you can precisely drill the hole in the new gear exactly thru the old hole. If you're off even a little bit, it throws the gear off the needed dimension. Seems like it would weaken the shaft, but it was never a problem with either of the ones I did. And one had a HV oilpump.

Makes sense... I just got a stock Ford Racinf oil pump. Should be good.
