I fixed the fuel problem and now onto the tranny, like I said before this 90 B2 has been sitting in the garage for about 5 years. When you put in drive, tranny fluid starts pouring out from the front of the tranny. I'm thinking front seal, now is this tranny a problem to remove? was thinking about doing it my self since the shop wants $1,200.00 to do a rebuild. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. Thanks
These A4LDs are a POS. So consider, when taking the trans out it may be best to have someone go through it completely. I would hate to have the trans out only to find out later these is a trans problem. It is so typical to have problems with the A4LD..
Thanks Pete, took your advise and let the experts look at the tranny, he did a complete rebuild and it is now on the road. Only took a new gas tank, injectors, pressure regulator and idle control. The things that happen when you let a truck sit for too long. At least he kept it in the garage, so the body is in great shape. Thanks again for your advise
