Hello,
I have a 1988 F150 1/2 ton etc....
I have tried everything from replacing the external pressure pump, to a new computer to get it running. This is a fuel injected truck as you may have guessed. I tried to bleed the air out of the line, but still no start.
Any suggestions?
Ken
What happaned to the truck? Did you just buy it? Anyway don't overlook the simple stuff such as secondary ingition components Wires, cap, rotor Initial timing. Does it turn over but not start? Let us know and it really shouldn't be to hard to get it running.

I had that problen once turns out the little groung wire on the negetive side of the battery was not pluged in(fuel pump ground)
another time it was the relay under the master cylinder

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 25-Jul-02 AT 03:52 PM (EST)]Thanks for the help!!
I was driving down the road and it sputtered and died. Then it would run a few minutes and die again. The last time it started was the time I got it home. Both tanks read full, I am just out of ideas. I am going to try to bypass the switches and run one tank straight. If you all have any other ideas, please help. I am really desperate.
Ken
I have a full tank in the back and the front has about 10 gallons
