Vacuum Line Issues/Idle Issues
Hello this is my first thread, I have a 1979 F100 with the 4.9l Inline 6, it was a three on the tree but the owner before me took it to the floor. I am a DIY mechanic and I am trying to make sense of the vacuum line diagrams haha, I dont not understand what all of letter combinations mean and I am having issues with my Idle whenever I go to stop. When I start my engine it idles just fine but when I drive it and go to stop it goes into this lopeing idle, anyone have any ideas on what that could be or how to fix it? Any answer is greatly appreciated thank you.

Do you still have A EGR valve and all your emission stuff on your truck? Sounds like your EGR valve is sticking open or partly open when you come to a stop .I"d also check for vacuum leaks .
