where does it go?

I have a black wire with a purple stripe that is not connected and need to know where it goes. coming from steering column

Have you tried the AutoZone website and look up the wiring diagram for your vehicle?

I mite be wrong and was trying to find it in a Tech tip I read a while back, but that wire may be that lousey ding ding ding when the keys are left in the ignition. It was either black and purple or black and pink. I been saying I'm going to disconect that myself for years now.
