I got the inners from Mid Fifty (pg 115)

Left 7706-L
Right 7706-L

Cost $65

I have the LH inner that I am not going to be using since I don't plan on removing the gas tank filler, along with a couple other parts to try and sell later when I get finished with the cab work.

More Progress

Made a little progress this week....

Next week I will be starting on the LH rear cab corner.....not going to be as easy as the RH side due to the gas filler opening.

One suggestion about cab corner repair. I made the mistake of repairing the passenger side cab corner without the door on. When I installed the door, the bottom contour of the door did not match the contour of the replaced cab corner. Luckily, I was not too deep into it, and the bottom of the doors needed replacing too. The driver side came out much better, as I hung the door and replaced the bottom at the same time I replaced the cab corner. Gaps are nice, and fitment is excellent. JMHO.

Yea...once I had the pass side corner tacked into place...I temporarily installed the door so I could get it lined up.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to replace the whole drivers rear cab corner...but the bend radius and dimensions on the lower part of the new panel are nowhere close to being the same as original.

Found this out after cutting what I thought I would need out of new panel....I have a new panel ordered from Mid Fifty...hope to have it next week when I am off again.

Posted some of these in another thread about cab corners but here is the final corner of my cab that needed repaired.

Disassembled the rack I used while I was doing the repair work and put it back on my rolling rack...Just need to go thru it and finish welding it up. I hope to have it ready for media blasting in next couple of weeks.

Wow! Really nice job! I can't imagine beginning a project like yours (since I have no patience and would go nutty trying to get it done). I have to give you major props for not only doing a great job (craftsmanship wise) but for doing the job methodically and correctly. Thanks for sharing your work.
