Canted Radiator / Coolers?

Opening the hood on my 2012, I noticed the radiator and auxiliary coolers are canted a bit, so the top of the radiator is nearer the front of the engine. (Mine is a 6.2L gas). Why not just have it straight up and down like most rigs?

I am not an automotive engineer or anything, but I would imagine that it is to increase surface area so that cooling is more effective.

A canted surface exposes more area to the air flow, which creates more cooling.

On some cars, canted radiators are also used to decrease the frontal area of the car, but in this case I think we can assume that the frontal area still has the square footage of a master bedroom, just like the first Super Duty.
