Alphabet jumbles

Howdy All;

Spent a long time in the Military and can figure out a lot of
acronyms. I have found my 'Brick Wall'... I'm new to the
Wonderful World of Diesels and ya'll have moved on to the next
(X5) level..... As someone trying to make heads-n-tails out of things
like iirc, icp, fcmp??? I dunno, ya'll truly are speaking another language.
Would someone put up a glossary, is one already available???
How's about using some parentheses ( ), to put the full name of the critter
in like iirc (i is really crazy) ???
Ain't askin' for much just want to understand what ya'll are sayin' that's all...

thanks much...
hank

hankaye, you have made a most commendable statement. It seems that acronyms have become the bane of our existence. And, welcome to great site. Enjoy.

don't feel bad Hank. i have been pulling wrenches this since before dinosaurs learned to walk, and the secret names for things since people started text messaging has me totally confused too.
is is not bad enough that they use secret code to identify parts, but now they are using it in normal conversations.

in general if a person is not intelligent enough to correctly spell out what they are talking about, i just ignore the post, because if i have no idea what the hell you are asking there is no way i can answer your question.
