Have a 99 Ford 7.3 with glow plug/electrical issues. Would not start, no glow plug light, found burnt fuse, #22 i believe, replaced it and truck started, ran for 2 months, then happened again, burnt fuse but no power at fuse receptacle, replaced fuse box and truck started and ran for 2 months then same problem with no light, fuse burnt out again, replaced and it immediately burnt out again, tried it with 2 more fuses with the same result. Truck has 324,000 miles, not sure if short in steering column or where? Any ideas on running down the short? thanks, new to forum but learn something every time i am here.
