The electric solenoid ones work pretty good. My wheeling buddies all use them, but they do bleed off some pressure over time. I still think line locks are a band aid...the point of an EMERGENCY brake is to stop you when you lose hydraulic pressure.
Line locks are used to hold the truck on a hill, etc. when thew user has switched out the overly heavy drums for disks on the rear.
Some people doubt or question them, some use them & love them and some have no clue what they are...
If people are looking into these - PM me. I've got a few Whitey/swagelock brand needle valve "line locks" here as I bought in bulk to do a couple trucks and then a couple for buddies. I can get specs & make a much better deal than the $40-60 these cost from most vendors.
