I think I can/want to cut out about 2/3 of the rear wheel wells from the bed of my truck. They take up extra space that I'd like to use.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Any ideas on how best to measure the max wheel travel before cutting? I'm going to get a paint job soon and want to do this first.
It's a 1970 F250 4x4.
Cycle the suspension and see how it flexes may need to take apart the leaf spring pack and just use the main leaf jack the axle up and down in the center and also on each side for side to side clearance
