Whenever im idling in my 2004 it always vibrates. I would vibrate, then quit, then start again and so on until i give it gas and then it would stop. Anyone know what could be causing this?
Also it does run quite rough period, my grandfather has a bone stock 6.0 with 120k on his and it sounds COMPLETELY different. Mine is also bone stock with 200K and is much louder in both idling and while driving. Can an oil additive like Rev-X fix this issue? Mine hasnt always done this just in the last few months it has (both vibrations and rough running) and even after I got my new injectors. Funny thing is whenever I would start in the cold, it would run smoother. Id like to know what is going on and I think its an issue because something is affecting my MPG.
How has the maintenance been? Do you use only OEM oil/fuel and air filters and OEM oil filter cap. Do you change the oil and filters at proper intervals? Have you had the codes read? Were your new injectors OEM reman?

Sounds like the PCM cycling the turbo veins at Idel
When it does this the Exhaust Tone changes back and forth till you drive its Common/Normal
It shouldnt really vibrate though so IDK

Anyone have inputs?
You need a Digital gauge
Can you smell exhaust in the Cab?????
Almost sounds like a Cracked Flex Joint in the Ypipe Your Drivability symptoms are inline with uppipe leak
Uppipe Leak would cause a Louder tone and Poor MPG

I changed my oil once since I bought it and it was due at that point. It will be due again in 1k miles. Air filter will be changed at next service. And new injectors were OEM but idk if they were reman or not.
