Just started to notice an oil smell in the cab of my truck. The smell seems to be more worse on the first start of the day. Don't seem to notice the smell on the next start. I also don't seem to notice it until I turn the heater on or run the air conditioner in the heat mode (for a quicker warm up in cold tempatures). Any thoughts on this one before my wife refuses to ride in the truck! 2004 F-250 CC Shortbox 6.0 Torqshift 3.73 limited-slip 24K miles. No mods on this one.

Reason: forgot truck info
A friend of mine (Reidicus) is running an '04 6.0L and he had a cracked Y-Pipe before his turbo, which caused a NASTY exhaust leak in the cab. Have you noticed any lag in your turbo? As for the "first start, then not so bad throughout the day" that is beyond me, as I am fairly new to the wide world of diesel!
