I have been reading about these and am interested enough to purchase. I found not many months ago they were around 350. The best I can find now is 399. Is that the going price or are they marked down certain times of the year? I love the truck so far. Only complaint is when it is cold the turbo whistles. After 1-2 minutes it goes away.
Thanks for any help.
If you see one for less than $399, you may want to make sure you are buying from an Edge approved dealer. $399 is the minimum price that their dealers are allowed to sell for. If you buy below MAP from a dealer that is not approved, you will likely have trouble getting Edge to honor the warranty.
349 and free shipping. Saw one for 299, but not reputable company, maybe was a refurb. Well worth the cost if your towing a lot. I monitor everything I cant on the truck's UI. Regen is a good thing to watch and what is interesting is everyones truck numbers are just a little different, just like the owners. I watch pre DOC and post DPF exhaust temps and batt voltage and transmission torque convertor lock/current gear and fluid temps. After you get it, go to edge and see if any updates are avail for it and download them. Mike
I had (have) an Edge on my 7.3L EX and it works well. When I got my 6.7L I went a slightly different route.
For $5 you can get an App for your iPhone or Android and use a Bluetouth ODBII adapter (about $25 to $35 bucks) and do just about everything for less than $50 total. It also moves form vehicle to vehicle well (but of course does not do any tuning.
If you just want to monitor you could use the ScanGuages as an option.
My '11 F350 will remain stock for some time to protect the ESP I have so using the BT adapter and Torque Pro (for the Android) seems to be a good alternative right now.
