'72 F250 - 2 9/16" Socket Question

'72 F250 - 2 9/16" Socket Question

I'm talking about a locknut socket like this:

Powerbuilt 647067 2-9/16-Inch 6-Point Rounded Hex Wheel Bearing Locknut Socket - Amazon.com

For a 1972 F250, do I need the rounded 6-Point Hex or the squared one?

YOU NEED THE ROUNDED ONE,THE SQUARE ONE WONT FIT INSIDE THE REAR END HOUSING WHERE THE NUT IS THAT HOLDS THE DRUM, (SQUARE ONE) THE POINTS HIT AND WILL NOT GO IN TO RICH THE NUT.

Okay, thanks! Sorry if that's a stupid question, I'd check myself but my truck is in another state and I'm trying to order everything before I go over there this summer.

You might check your local Autozone,o'reily,etc. May be cheaper considering freight cost.
