Mod / Upgrade suggestions
Now that I'm well on my way to having my truck back, I wanted to get some input to see what upgrades are out there Or things i should look to replace. Right now everything is stock, except the muffler I think, its short, and partly red (I'll post a photo when I find out how).
1970 ford f100 (there is a "custom" emblem on the back, what does that refer to?)
302 v8 c6 (I think)
I replaced the gas tank (kept it in cab)
Fan belt
Was thinking about:
Electronic ignition $160
Ngk plugs $60
Accel plug wires$52
Sound deadener $110
Red line transmission fluid replace $100
Red line oil replace $85
Mostly things to get it running stronger.

How about stopping stronger? Disc brakes.... power disc brakes.
Running stronger?
Headers and dual exhaust, then cam, lifters, and springs, 4V intake, 4V carb. or add or aluminum heads at the same time.

Thanks! I read some confusing info about the c4 vs. C6, but read a c6 could be installed onto a 302, but wasn't standard (unless that information was wrong too).
I'm gonna look into some of those other suggestions as well!
