Suspension will be the same, I can't answer your engine question though. But if you get the whole car you should just pull out the computer and wiring, and use the fuel injection.

I agree on the engine issue. Yank the whole assembly and go with the EFI. There a couple of guys on this site that can modify the wiring harness on the donor car to work in your truck. As for the suspension of the never CV, I'm not savee on that, but I think they may be the same as the older ones. Good luck.
no matter who manufactures the carb'd intake for the 4.6 , they are a single plane intake meant for racing . won't run worth a crap on the street unless your gonna build an animal and gear it to hades and a high stall converter ...... if you want to run it best to take the harness and all and leave it fuel injected .
The main reason why i ask about the suspension is that after searching car-parts.com for interchangeability, i found the "engine cradle - aluminum" to be specific 2003-2007 and a differnt item from 2007+. Which made me think the suspension for donor purposes might be different than what everyone else is using.
So if everyone here tells me they are the same i will make the offer on the car.
i'm not for sure but i believe the newer vic's track width is to wide for our trucks . so you might wanna check into that before you buy it . i know for sure as i had one i parted out , and mechmchn aka jeff on here used the front suspension from a lincoln variant on his truck , but the square body vics of the early 80's and mid to late 80's will fit .
