Is anybody out there ready for a challange? I need somebody to help me with a dilima!
I removed the airbag from my 1995 F-150 in order to install a peice of audio equipment. The audio equipment has a six wire plug. I would like to use the clock spring in the steering wheel to operate the unit, but the clock spring only supports four wires.
What to do?
Can I replace it with another from a different Ford or will I have to modify it?
I am not sure on this but you might goto a junk yard and try a clock spring out of a Lincoln or Mercury. Look for a higher end model that might have more of the controls on the steering wheel. Like I said, not sure on this but it's a suggestion.
