I've searched for this but didn't turn up anything. On my 1992 E-150 conversion van, the blower motor quit working. The motor works just fine when jumped directly to the battery, the problem is I'm not getting any power to the motor.
The power distribution block is located on the drivers side under the hood. There is a 60 amp fuse for the blower there but it tested 12v on both sides. From there it should go to the relay but I can't find it. Can anyone tell me where this relay is? None of my manuals says where it is specifically located.

Should be near the blower itself. Also 1 other item that may be more suspect is the resistor pack that is installed in the plenum downstream from the blower itself. It is a multi wire resistor (speed vs. voltage) that can burn out. (this may be what you are referring to as the "RELAY") I've seen plenty of these burn out.
Also double check your ground from the blower motor and if necessary add a direct ground lead from the motor casing to a body or frame mount.
Thanks Larry. The one I'm looking for energizes the system when you turn the selector lever from "off" to "a/c" or any of the other positions. I tested the resistor with an ohm meter it it passed. It's raining today and the van won't fit in the garage. Hopefully I'll get a chance to play with it some more.
I found it. It's the one in the power sitriution box in the lower left corner. Unfortunately it melted the connector and part of the harness. Looks like it's time to pay the dealer a visit.
