I haven't met one person in person, or in these forums that has not had, or have problems, or dont know if they have a problem, with the 03, 6.0 Power Stroke. I would like to strangle a few programers and the engineers that allowed these engines PCM/ Injectors software conflicts ect. to be mass produced on an assembly line! i.e.Navstar/Ford..... I have not liked being a genie pig for FORD! I was V8 Chev. gas engines, True and proud for 20 years. Now I bought a new FORD diesel, because Ford was the #1 selling truck with the 7.3. Now all of us are in 6.0 Hell! We are told to shut up and wait for a patch from FORD,FORD Reps, ect, for the all new 6.0! Why don't they put the 6.9 Cummins in the F-series trucks, after all ford is the major stock holder for DODGE! I hate the Dodge 4 half-a-door. These trucks were modified extended cabs just add a door. I need the power the 6.0 has, but don't need the headaches! I know people with 6.0s dieing in the road from elect. problems To you name it! The problematic RUFF-IDLE, Ford WILL buy your truck back if it is dying! But not if it runs like _ _ _ _! Does any Ford people have any suggestions? We will not be able to sell these trucks with all the entries from Ford service! I don't wont the Dura Maxless, I said I like Chevy gas engines not the Chevy Diesel!
