Lake Crowley Project
I had a Farcebook discussion about that place in an Eastern Sierra group that I follow. People who live in McGee and elsewhere nearby say that the owner has not been able to get an occupancy approval. Something about the way it was permitted. The type of use for which it was permitted was not proper, IIRC. Of course, this is all internet rumor mill stuff.
As far as condition, the entire thing is rust colored. Can't tell from highway distance if that is intentionally treated, painted, or just neglect. It is pleasing enough looking to make me think it is a coat of rustoleum. Also, one time not more than a year or two back, a wall had been grafittied. Then not too long after that we passed it and it had been removed, but you could tell where it had been. Some weeds at times, but someone is bush hogging it enough to keep the growth controlled.
